Kiosk Update

Public touchscreen devices carry the risk transmitting coronavirus. In light of COVID-19, the Akron Stories team is exploring safe options for the kiosk in downtown Akron. Possible alternatives include a video display kiosk or a wrapped informational kiosk.
Despite the pandemic, all stories from our oral history project will be made available on the AkronStories.com website. This will allow everyone to access the stories from their smartphone or remotely from the comfort of their own home.
The Akron Stories team has conducted more than 50 interviews and identified 200+ stories for production. We will continue recording stories as scheduling permits, and plan on continuously updating the website with new content. Please click the following link to share a story or schedule an interview.
