Jackie Easley remembers Floyd Easley Sr., a proud family man who worked at Goodyear for 40 years after serving in the military. Floyd was born and raised in Akron, and went to Garfield High School. Jackie recalls Family Day at Goodyear, when employees could take their kids on tours of the plants and machines. Jackie remembers the events at Wingfoot Lake, the Christmas parties, and how much her dad enjoyed roller skating. Jackie reflects on how things have changed since she was born in 1959, and only wanted to share positive stories to help future generations appreciate Akron's past.
